The Biomathematics Group uses mathematical and computational methods for studying biological systems and evolution. Our research covers population genetics and evolution, kinetic theory, self-organisation, PDE models of cell movements, the mathematics of cell biology, reaction networks and metabolic networks, with a strong focus on connecting processes across biological scales.
We are part of the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Vienna and are based at Oskar-Morgenstern-Platz 1, 1090 Vienna.
